Having an older sister as role model paved the way for me to fall in love the best sport in the world. I have been playing soccer since before I could remember with my dad and sister in the backyard. After realizing I wanted to take soccer to the next level, I recognized the commitment and passion it took to play on the academy team for Penn Fusion Soccer Academy which was the best decision of my life. It taught me many life skills that I will use for the rest of my life. Although I wasn’t able to play for my high school team due to the commitment of my club team, I knew I wanted to play Division One Soccer and had to face many sacrifices to play at the top level. I recently just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where I was captain my senior year for the soccer team and earned Second Team All-Ivy League. I am currently taking my fifth year for soccer at the University of Tenneesee while earning a masters degree. Playing college soccer is definitely a grind and takes a specific person, but in all it has been a luxury and has shaped who I am today!
